Spring Forward, Don't Fall Back

Winter darkness has taken its toll, as the sun struggled to rise above the horizon.

My limbs grew weak, all I did was sleep, and the coldness made my heart frozen.

Like a Morning Glory, I closed my pedals, shielding myself from pain.

Yet my vines kept growing along every wall that tried to block my gain.

Seasons are changing, spring is in the air, and the sun is shining down on me.

The light reveals the progress I’ve made. Yes, I’ve blossomed through my adversity.

It’s time to spring forward, less darkness and more light. My pedals stretch towards the sun.

I choose to spring forward, from those long winter nights. I won’t fall back to where I’ve come from.
